We should learn from the fate of the red squirrel Featured

25th March 2014: Last week Andrew Brons sent the following letter to the editors of the national newspapers and those covering his Yorkshire and Humber constituency.

He wrote:

"So the Government has concluded that the attempt to eradicate the grey squirrel is no longer feasible and that its complete replacement of the red squirrel is only a matter of time.

"We should learn from the fate of the red squirrel. It is not the only indigenous population group in Britain that is in danger of being replaced."
