Andrew tables his first parliamentary question

ANDREW Brons has tabled his first Parliamentary question to the European Parliament.
It concerned the Energy Using Products directive and was in response to a request from one of his North Yorkshire constituents.
The MEP for Yorkshire and the Humber asked:

Fuel firm seek delay on legislation

ANDREW Brons has been contacted by a fuel service company asking him to investigate whether it is possible persuade the European Parliament to postpone an Energy Using Products (EuP) Directive which will prohibit oil fired cooking and heating from 2013.
The company is hoping that Andrew can lobby for a delay on the legislation until 2018 [...]
Eviction threat and child support shortfall

ALTHOUGH Andrew Brons does not officially take office as a MEP for the Yorkshire region until 17th July, he has already helped one of his constituents.

Today saw the dawning of a new era in European nationalist cooperation with the first meeting of Members of the European Parliament from Britain, France, Belgium, Austria, Hungary and Bulgaria in preparation for the inaugural sitting of the newly elected body on 14 July.
