Parliamentary Assistants busy in Brussels

Today is the second day of a very productive trip to Brussels by Chris Beverley and parliamentary Assistant Eddy Butler and volunteer Debbie Stafford, one of our hard working North West councillors.

We are here to investigate a number of issues relating to our MEPs and the various ways in which they can access funding to promote their work and their constituencies back home.
As previously reported on this website, this office has already made full advantage of the opportunity to bring trips of BNP activists to visit Brussels and we have also made full use of the MEPs´ Communications Allowances that we have so far used to print thousands of newsletters and pay for newspaper advertisements.
We have held various meetings with officials during this trip in preparation for a number of additional exciting initiatives that we aim to organise throughout the course of the rest of the year.
